🎄I know, I know… it’s only October — but the penguins and robins didn’t get the memo! 😅

I’ve been busy crafting some brand new Christmas decorations made with treasures found right here on our local beaches. Each piece is handmade with love, a bit of salt air, and plenty of festive spirit (even if it’s early!)

This year’s designs include little robin and penguin families that can be personalised to match your own — whether it’s two or ten of you, I can make it fit (yes, pets included too! 🐾).

I started this painting a while ago when I was doing a practice run for another piece. I rediscovered it the other day and decided to put some finishing touches to him and he’s now available for purchase.

As it was only meant to be a test run, it’s on A3 artist paper rather than a canvas, but it still comes framed 🖼️

I found this little shell on one of our local beaches and wondered what type it was, so I had a little google and it’s most commonly known as a Shiva Eye Shell.

Named after the Hindu God, Shiva, the shell represents the Third Eye found in many depictions of the God. Folklore suggests Shiva Eye Shells are “Mermaids’ Money” and good luck to travelers and fishermen. Many believe that carrying or wearing a Shiva eye shell can enhance intuition, provide spiritual protection, and promote overall well-being.

So after reading all of this, I decided it would make a lovely little necklace 🐚 it’s all ready for a new home so message me if you’re interested ✨

Beautiful sea foam blue 🩵

The photos don’t do the colour of this piece justice! It’s currently on its way to its new home in Scotland as a little farewell & safe travels gift! And will then be making its way to New Zealand - it will be a well travelled little piece of Cornish sea glass that’s for sure! ✨
