Well, that was a very Yorkshire bank holiday… 🌧️

After a weekend of stormy skies, sideways rain and some rather impressive mud, it reminded me of a trip to Brontë Country earlier this year.

Haworth in the rain. Wet cobbles. Mist over the moors. A walk out towards Brontë Falls in weather that felt very appropriately Wuthering Heights.

Cold, soaked and windswept by the time we got back, there really was only one thing for it…

A candle lit, a glass poured and Wuthering Heights on the TV.

Sometimes the best part of going out into Yorkshire is coming home again.

☀️ Summer Pause Notice ☀️

We’ll be taking a little summer break from 5th–18th July to rest, recharge, and soak up some sunshine.

While we’re away, here’s a little summer candle care reminder: please keep your candles out of direct sunlight and avoid leaving them on windowsills. Heat and prolonged sun exposure can soften the wax, cause discolouration, and even affect the fragrance, so keeping your candles somewhere cool and shaded will help them stay at their best.

Thank you so much for your continued support—we can’t wait to be back creating your favourite candles. We’ll be back on 19th July.
