Founded in Hackney, East London, as Martin Dannell & Co Ltd, our family business has grown from a small workshop into a thriving British manufacturer based in a 20,000 sq ft factory in Essex. Today, as Dannells Limited, we’re proud to employ a talented team of around 30 people — many of whom have been with us for decades. We are deeply saddened by the passing of our former director, Alan Went.

We remember with gratitude his leadership, dedication and valued contribution to Martin Dannell & Co. Ltd and Dannells Ltd, and the lasting impact Alan had on those who worked alongside him.

Our heartfelt condolences go to Alan’s family, friends and former colleagues at this difficult time. They will be fondly remembered.
