Filming came to Ware today! 🎥

In typical British weather we had to dodge the rain under trees, umbrellas and rain jackets, but we managed to film content for ITV Anglia, featuring the river lea art trail benches!

How exciting! 😁

A few recent artworks using the fun and colourful medium of alcohol inks! 🌈

I find inking so therapeutic, I really do just get lost in the flow and movement of the ripples.

Have you wondered what alcohol ink actually is?...

Alcohol inks are highly pigmented, fast-drying, dye-based inks. When dropped onto smooth, non-porous surfaces, they can be manipulated with blending solutions and air tools

The results allow you to create vibrant, fluid, abstract artwork.

Well what can I say except wow!!!

On Sunday 31st May we officially opened the river bench art trail and I'm over the moon with the response!

The turn out was more than expected (I didn't know what to expect to be honest, but nearly crying said it all 🙈)

Thank you to everybody who has messaged, visited in person and who turned up to show their support for this trail, it means the absolute world!

This trail aimed to bring the community together and it truly did just that!

Thank you to for funding this trail using the governments UK shared prosperity fund, for sponsorship funding, The Ware Mens Shed for their volunteering work to help restore, replace and rejuvenate the benches, for being the paint partner in this project, for contributing funding and Cllr Vicky Glover-Ward for all of her help, guidance and personal contribution to the project and of course all of the artists who have brought their own creativity, expertise and colour to make this trail unique and vibrant!
