For Jo who married George on Friday

The April showers may have put a stop to them getting married under the gazebo by the lake, but the end set up in the main house was beautiful.

These bright pops of cerise ranunculus brought the sunshine inside, nestled amongst spring favourites of white syringa, scented sweet peas, butterfly ranunculus, scented roses and a nod to Scottish roots with blue eryngium.

The most gorgeous colour palette for these farewell flowers earlier this week.
I had been fortunate enough to do my clients wedding flowers many years ago and she had contacted me with the sad news of losing her mother. She asked if I would do the flowers as ‘’mum had loved my wedding flowers’. Such a lovely and touching request 💕
On such a sad day, I hope that she’d have loved these too.

Tis nearly the season for a Christmas Wreath 🌲

It’s taken me a while to let go of beautiful Autumn and look to the mayhem of December. I love Christmas but boy it’s a busy month. With two birthdays, Christmas shopping, countless wreaths to make and a growing gardening business which I’ve branched out into, I always feel slightly panicked. I vow to be more organised next year!

Still, Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas for me without making wreaths. What started as a little venture has now grown into a lovely, little business with very loyal clients, especially at Christmas.

This year I will be making a limited number of bespoke wreaths which I will make in order of booking.

All unique using fresh, fragrant, seasonal ingredients and interesting textures, one size this year (approx. 14-16”) £65.00.

Please order as soon as possible to ensure you don’t miss out.

I’m seeing so much about Christmas wreaths at the moment but I absolutely love this time of year and all the rich colours and textural finds in the hedgerows. Can we please just embrace it a little longer 🍂

Before these little squares are bombarded with all things Christmas I’m sharing this wreath made this time last year. Plum tones tones contrast beautifully with the almost black, shiny berries of foraged wild privet and the seed heads of old man’s beard (wild clematis).
