This week we have been making a difference to this floor in a lovely property of one of our regular customers. Still the finishing varnishes to apply but we’ve made progress.

We are getting somewhere. This floor looked almost at the point of replacement but with the correct tools. Some knowledge and a lot of work we are on the road to a nicely restored floor.

This work carried out in a building that had its 200years birthday this year.

Can we restore this floor. I think we can but let’s find out.

This floor had carpet tiles glued to it along with years of grime and poor care. We restored areas, refitted salvaged blocks and even installed a scuffle plank as a nod to the owners trade to fix a void. After days of sanding we discovered a real forgotten gem. if you have a historic floor that needs restoration we are here to help

We are currently working on a stunning floor for one of our regular customers. Here we had to grind off old paints and builders plaster. We applied a liquid Damp proof membrane from and then treated the surface to a generous coat of floor smoothing compound. This we then corrected where needed and covered with stuck down LVT from and their stunning Warm Brushed Oak 9” plank in the Van Gogh range.

Saving and restoring a lovely floor. Installing area of missing floor with salvaged blocks. Then a long process of sanding off years of neglect. Builders dirt. Old adhesives from stuck down carpets to mention just some. This coffee shop is going to have a beautiful floor now! the dancing goat
