We're not your typical furniture store where you walk in and feel uninspired by the sea of grey and beige sofas and chairs.

At Crockerton furniture centre we have a sea of colour! Now we're not saying you'll like the fabric we have on display but remember most products are made to order in hundreds of colour ways!

Don't settle for plain and boring, choose the fabric to suit you! Like on the new Hampton range, very traditional styling with beautiful chenille fabric.

We also have a range of new reclining suits and Bamboo gel hybrid beds (which are incredibly comfortable)pop over and have a gander.

✨ Meet the team week 5✨

I better introduce you to myself, my name's James, the official Mattress tester, sofa sitter and shocking social media guy! And yes I do pretty much wear shorts all year round.

The next part is written by my manager as I'm not allowed to big myself up to much 😂

James is Definitely the cog that holds us all
together, James has been with us for over 16 Years now.
He started on the van as a young faced
cheeky chappy doing deliveries (with Terry a
few of our regular customers will
remember Terry) and has worked his way up
to deputy manager.
All the lovely displays you see in store are
James creations he knows exactly where to
place the furniture to show it to its best
advantage.

Again James has multiple roles
within our team and basically handles them all with ease, the customers love him,
always about with a smile to make your
experience in store is an easy hassle free experience.
He’s always the best person to ask if your
worried about getting a sofa through your
door He can also be found arranging the
warehouse and unloading Lorry’s

He’s grown from that young cheeky lad into an experienced member of the team.
It's a pleasure to have him work with us.

✨ The 4th addition of meet the team✨

Here we have José, an amazing all-rounder 🏏 who you may occasionally see in store and out and about on the delivery van.

Joe comes over to us from our Sister store Ilminster Warehouse Limited from time to time to give us a much needed helping hand, Joe has worked there since he was 15!! I won't mention how old you are now mate but that's one heck of a shift! You won't find anyone more knowledgeable than this man!

If you're ever in the ilminster direction it's well worth a visit, not only do they have a good selection of furniture and white goods but also a Cracking DIY section where you will find Joe working away on his paint machine, paint matching to various colours.

I Would also like to say a massive shout-out to our fantastic Lu, who is solely responsible for keeping our huge display clean and spotless. She always goes about her task with a huge smile on her face (apart from when I hide the hoover or extension lead) and a spring in her step.

Thank you both for the huge effort you put in for us. 😍

Meet the team week 3!

Did you know we have a member of the team who is actually a bit of a local celebrity! Introducing the South West's best DJ Karl Maggs.🕺🏼

Karl joined the team three years ago and came to us with many years of experience from previously owning his own furniture business. With his fresh, energetic attitude - he handles multiple roles within the company whether it's sales, warehouse or even the odd delivery or two (to keep him young and fit!) 💪🏼

Karl is also a top notch DIYer and builds our flat pack sliding wardrobes in his spare time. If you buy one of these and need assembly - Karl is your man!

You'll often see Karl about the shop keeping busy so make sure you say Hi! (And don't forget to book him for that event or special occasion - we might be biased but he's genuinely one of the best Djs around).

Week 2 of Meet the Team ✨

Valerie Haine (Nanna). This lady needs no introduction, and many of you may know Val from the Warminster area.

Our longest serving member of the squad, Val was interviewed before there was even an item of furniture in the store. She helped the owners clean, hoover and get the display in tip-top shape ready for opening almost 18 years ago.

You will often see Val busy downstairs beavering away putting items together. Her skillset includes dining chairs, coffee tables, swivel chairs and much more. If you've bought one of our swivel reclining chairs over the past 18 years - this legend probably assembled it for you, and at 77 years young that's no mean feat!

You may not know this - but we actually put together your items in store before they are delivered, so you don't have to. Many items bought from other retailers (especially online) are flat-pack - which you the customer will have to build, taking up your valuable time! We do it here so you don't have to.

A massive hello, and thank you to all of our new followers over the past few months.

We thought we'd better introduce you to the Crockerton team!

Starting with Ashley Shore and Toby Stewart, this pair are arguably two of the most important members of our team - the faces you see when your product is being delivered! 🚚

With over 25 years of delivery experience between them, they have learnt over the years the skill required to get multiple large and heavy items through your access points - including tight front doors, winding stairs and sometimes (rarely but sometimes) over a garage and through a window or two! And always with a smile on their faces. 😁

They are so much more than delivery men and really do go above and beyond. Whether helping out in the warehouse, carrying furniture all around the show room or lending a helping hand on the sales floor - these two can do it all!

If you see them out and about give them a friendly wave. 👋🏼
