Our regular classes have stopped for the summer break, but over the summer break we are going to share some of the work that has been completed in our classes.
Today we are sharing the completed piece stitched by Helen. These 3 butterflies combine a mixture of colours and styles, showing that you can add other types of embroidery stitches and styles with Goldwork and they will sit together in harmony, this is a stunning peace well done Helen

Class focus
Our regular classes have stopped for the summer break, but over the summer break we are going to share some of the work that has been completed in our classes.
This week we are sharing a piece of work which has been stitched by Helen, here we have a third butterfly, completed in pinks with a stumpwork wing to give a 3d effect, sequins have been stitched onto a sheer fabric to give a softer feel and so that you can see the stitching on the wings underneath which has been covered in coloured purls and sequins. We will share the completed picture next time.
