Still working on this but Canada Geese are a firm constant on our wetlands, intertidal areas, lakes and rivers we almost take them for granted, they are sometimes described as noisy and a nuisance when they gather in large numbers but on closer inspection they are beautiful and elegant in their two tone ornamentals and hugely resourceful to boot, this piece is making it debut Warwickshire Open Studios if I manage to finish it 😬🙈

Working on some marshes, wanted it to be a river but the painting had other ideas and gave me the sea, it’s very much a work in progress.. watch this space to see the melancholic landscape, or melanscape if you like, take shape hopefully in time for Warwickshire Open Studios 👍

As I have had so much interest in my workshop creating rock pools on a Gelliplate I have released another date !! Sunday 12th October 10am to 2pm 🙌🙌🎉

Come and join me for a Gelliplate printing workshop on Sunday October12th from 10 to 2pm to create a beautiful rockpool painting at Oxhill Village Hall in Warwickshire. We will create our Rockpools by mono printing layers on paper using a Gelliplate and completing the piece with some hand painted shells. The workshop is £55 per person with paint, paper and gelliplates provided as well as refreshments. All the participants will need to bring is a few small artists brushes and an apron.
