Hello everyone , I thought I’d tell any newbies here a little about myself . My name is Jess, I am a mum to 3 girls! Two of which I home educate the other is a big girl now and lives between here and her boyfriends! We are a huge animal loving family and have a small zoo at home ! Ranging from cats to reptiles, so it can be a bit chaotic!! Although I wouldn’t have it any other way, I suffer with sever anxiety and these girls and pets really do keep me busy and on my toes which i definitely need! I started creating memorial pieces after my parents lost there fur babies and wanted something special made but they just couldn’t afford it , me being me who loves learning new things and jumping in head first thought yeah I can do that 🤣🤦♀️ omg a lot more taking in info then I expected that’s for sure and I really don’t do well with taking things in and remembering but I also am very stubborn and determined once I have an idea in my head ( yes I have a lot of ADHD signs 🤣) anyway I did it!! It was not perfect , I had a lot more to learn and a lot of practising but I did it!! Whooooop.
Now this would be the time where the novelty would normally wear off and I’d move on to the next project, but I didn’t. I continued to learn and practise techniques and try different materials and I fell in love with it. I think what I really fell in love with was the way it made me feel knowing I’ve helped someone find a little comfort in dark times, seeing people smile or get emotional because they were happy to have a part of someone back with them , that part is what makes me keep going. I am just one person, I am a new business , I’m not busy and I’m still pushing to be seen but it’s not for money it really is for love and that’s why I appreciate everyone being here.
