Printed and woven fabrics made of textured yarns, wools, velvets, linens and cotton, combined with a mix of natural colours and rich vibrant hues predominate her collections. Titley and Marr has always prided itself in manufacturing almost all of their products in the UK - only when specialist techniques are required is the production moved to mills in Europe.

Kitchens are jam-packed with hard surfaces. Without the softness of fabric curtains or blinds, they can actually be quite harsh spaces. Curtains are the soft architecture that make it feel like home.

Weaving since 1903, the Gainsborough Silk Weaving Company is one of Britain’s last remaining jacquard weaving mills and we were fortunate enough to visit earlier this week and to witness a little of the magic in motion for ourselves. Such a treasure trove of historic designs and a phenomenal archive of threads.
