So very many butterflies 🦋. When my land was simply pasture I saw very few insects and now it is buzzing. Have no idea the names of them but I am so glad they like it here 💕.

Florist order delivered today 😁. The field is swamped with statice right now, lots to dry ready for your Christmas wreaths. I know, talking the 'C' word in this heat 🙄🥵. It is perfect drying weather. 📣 to the florists, statice is perfect for an arch in this weather, it doesn't wilt and is as tough as old boots!

With a heavy heart, I've made the difficult decision to stop selling grab-and-go bouquets in the village.

Sadly, sales have been much lower this year, while demand from local florists for my flowers has grown. Every bouquet that doesn't sell in the village is a bunch of beautiful blooms that could have gone to one of the florists I supply, so this feels like the right decision for the future of the business.

That said, I'm still completely committed to making sure Wedmore can enjoy responsibly grown, seasonal British flowers, all lovingly sown and grown right here in Wedmore. 🌻

From now on, I'll be offering made-to-order bunches, delivered to your door every Friday morning in the village and surrounding hamlets for £15.

This week's pick from the field is sunflowers and feverfew—a joyful, summery combination. 💛
