What started as a tired space in a local college has been stripped right back. Old flooring removed, walls taken out, plastering completed, full redecoration, and finished with new carpet tiles throughout.

A great project to be involved in, turning an outdated space into a fresh, modern office ready for use.

This is a HMO conversion we’re currently working on.

With HMOs, there’s a lot more to consider than simply creating extra rooms. Fire-rated materials, protected escape routes, sound insulation, emergency lighting, fire doors, ventilation and room size requirements all need careful planning to ensure the property meets current regulations.

Using experienced contractors who understand these requirements from the outset can save a lot of time, money and headaches down the line.

Our customer is wanting to increase the current size of their lounge, and get rid of some dead space. To do this we are taking away some of the current bathroom whilst closing it off to turn into an en-suite.

We are installing supporting timbers and metal “flitch” beams before removing supporting brick wall.

This is going to be a great transformation which we’re so excited to shear the progress with you.
