Just arrived! I had our Hill Radnor Dedes fleece spun by Shire Mill into DK and 4 Ply, it is so beautiful and springy, perfect for lots of woolly knits or crochet. Here is a photo of Dede and her lamb Gwen 2 years ago. They both went to Wonderwool 2024 and Gwen went with her lamb this year :) The yarn will be going to The Royal Welsh Show to be displayed on the breed society stand. The DK is for sale at £20 and 4 ply £22

I am very excited to be organising the Berriew Sheep Show this year! It's an amazing show with lots of entertainment for all the family with a happy, friendly atmosphere. It is on 29th August classes for British native breeds; Longwool, Primitive, Hill/Heath, Downland/Shortwool schedules out soon. There is also a fleece section with the same categories as the sheep. We are set up at the Nature Day at Berriew school. Come along and have a look at all the wonderful nature themed stalls. Have a go at peg loom weaving and see the Hill Radnor sheep and Old English Goat on the stall!
