I'll be hosting another FREE session this half term! ☺️

This one is alongside Calibre Audio and will be held at Wendover Youth Centre. In the session we will be exploring the magic of "book wandering" through audio and mixed media arts and crafts.

Following on from the success of this term's sessions, I'll be back after Easter, hosting the next set of Junior Wordcraft classes. They will take place every Tuesday from April 22nd - 20th May and will focus on the book "The Lost Words". Each week, we will be reading a poem from this beautiful text and playing with both words and a variety of arts and crafts mediums.

These classes are aimed at children in Years 4 - 6, but do get in touch if your child falls outside this age-range and you'd like them to take part!

Following on from the success of this term's sessions, I'll be hosting some more Preschool Wordcraft Classes at Real Magic Books after Easter!

Every Thursday from 24th April - 22nd May 10AM - 11AM, we will be getting together to read some high-quality children's books and do crafts based on them.

Every Tuesday in March, I’ll be hosting an after school club at , with the text “Tell Me a Dragon” by Jackie Morris as inspiration. This little project is called “Wordcraft” and it’s for children in years 4-6 in which we use a variety of arts and crafts materials to create a dragon and bring them to life. Over the last few weeks, the children have been working hard to create dragon eggs, a collaborative world map for their dragons to live in alongside some water colour landscapes for their own self-directed dragon journals. ✨

Last Thursday I hosted the first preschool Wordcraft session as part of the at !

We read the children's classic book Elmer by David McKee and created our own colourful patchwork elephants. I love how much personality each of these little guys have!

There's still some spaces available on our next session, Thursday 6th March - do get in touch if you have a child aged 2-4 and would like to come along. Our focus text this week will be How to Catch a Star by Oliver Jeffers. ✨

Did you know that even dragons love a good story? This one is reading "Mouse's Wood" by Alice Melvin - an interactive journey across a wood throughout the year (this dragon particularly enjoys lifting the flaps).
