~ Terrazzo care 101 ~

All of my pieces have been carefully cast by hand and are completely unique in their colour and design.

Here’s how to care for your Terrazzo:

✨Avoid harsh cleaning products✨

Simply wipe down your piece with a damp soft cloth. If you need to clean a more intense mess, I recommend using a cleaner with a neutral pH level.

Always avoid detergents, polish removers, abrasive or acidic products (including vinegar or lemon juice). By using products with acidic content, you will damage your surface.

✨Clean up spills straight away✨

Accidents do happen! I recommend cleaning up spills or stains as quickly as possible to avoid changing the surface’s appearance or vibrancy.

✨Do not clean a terrazzo surface with rough fabrics✨

When cleaning your terrazzo surface avoid using scourers or rough cloths. If you do use a metal or rough fabric you are likely to scratch and damage the terrazzo.

✨Say no to wax✨

It may be tempting to wax your piece to create shine, all my pieces are already sealed and finished and do not require further treatment. Bacteria can build up from waxy residue on a terrazzo surface, so it’s best to be avoided.
