When I started making candles, I didn’t just think about how they looked or smelled.

I thought about what I’d genuinely want burning in my own home.

That’s why I choose coconut & rapeseed wax, cotton wicks, water-based Jesmonite and carefully selected fragrance blends that are paraben-free and phthalate-free.

Some of our scents are pure essential oils, some use fragrance oils, and some combine both to create the fragrance I was looking for. You’ll always find exactly what’s in each candle on the website because I believe in being transparent.

This isn’t about telling anyone what they should buy - there are wonderful candles at every price point, and everyone has different priorities.

These are simply the choices I’ve made for my own home, and they’re the same choices that go into every candle and home accessory we make.

And that was JULY at The Scent Shed…

… a month of new candle designs, new shades, new scents, no rain, seeing Bruno Mars at Wembley (best concert ever!), hot dogs, the launch of the capsule Coastal Collection plus a glimpse of what’s to come for Autumn

Now I’m off to do a rain dance as my candles aren’t setting in this heat and my concrete is setting too quickly 🙄☔️
