I’ve been making some little beeswax bees to finish a new batch of Queen Bee candles. The pure beeswax has been collected from our hives at Postacre. Using a heat gun to flash the surface, I then add the bee 😊
Queen Bee - Dark Honey & To***co. This candle is made from a blended wax of soy, beeswax, rapeseed and coconut. It has a perfect balance of smokey and sweet. Woody tones with the warmth of honey and to***co. A popular choice as the nights need a golden cosy glow. 💛

Now we’re in October and the leaves begin to fall - it can only mean one thing!! Longer nights in and time to set the theme as we head into autumn and halloween season.
At Postacre - October it means sweeping leaves for an about 2months - non stop!!! Really! Haha.

Postacre bees! We are starting to see progress in the hives. We are a little behind in the season - the poor bees have been stuck in for far too long these past few weeks! The rain has slowed down production!

It’s been a bit quiet on socials and in the candle cabin - so I thought I should tell you all the reason why!!
There’s been a 6️⃣0️⃣th to celebrate!! 🤣
I’ve spent a wonderful week away with my little family and celebrating with some very special friends. Anyone who knows me knows my love of Skiathos 💙🧿🤍 so of course I had to create my own taverna 🤣🥂
And as candlemaker - I had to thank the beautiful ladies with a special gift.🕯️
A one off candle made and presented to my besties 🧿💙🫶🏻
Making a bespoke item for a special occasion is something I love doing 🫶🏻🥰
Next week I’ll be back in the candle cabin preparing for a couple of fairs. On Saturday 13 June I will be joining crafters at Coolings Garden Centre.
