Spent the day with Denise-the-brick chipping out layers of cement mortar from the brick and stonework of our Edwardian house.

We’ve only scratched the surface (literally) but the damage to the brick faces are clear and really quite alarming.

Once repaired and repointed with lime mortar, our house will be happy and able to breathe again.

My Cretan 🇬🇷 trip was short but filled to the brim with brilliant memories.

I met new people, ate amazing food, drank wine, admired views, met cute cats and best of all I gay to share it with two very special people.

Beetroot 🫜 update. The tart worked!

Bit of a weird post but I had to share the colours and variety in these beetroot’s I’m preparing. Almost a shame to roast them.

Hopefully the cheese and beetroot 🫜 tart I’m planning will do them justice.
