e to say that 90% of my work is through word-of-mouth recommendations, which makes me think that I must be doing something right! I work across the southwest and beyond. Sites on which I have/am working include locations as far afield as Cirencester, Minehead and Reading. I have also provided on-site architectural advice on the design of an hotel near Nice, France. My ambitiontion is to help you realise your aspirations. I will always try to advise you on whether your project is likely to receive planning approval from the outset. Unlike other architectural consultants, I do not charge for initial consultations and will only provide a quotation for my services once I have visited you on site to discuss exactly what you wish to achieve. Another year and a distinct lack of posts by me. My workload is healthy and all through word-of-mouth recommendations from clients and builders alike. I would like to thank everyone for the recommendations and please do not stop. As one project finishes, another begins.

At present I have a list of around 30 projects on which I am working. I like to keep busy! Some of these are small projects such as loft conversions, some individual houses and some are housing estates. Current design stage projects include a two storey green oak extension, several single storey "orangery" style extensions a few loft conversions, two storey residential extensions, conversion of buildings in conservaiton areas, works to a couple of listed buildings and 5 new build houses.

There are several project under construction, some of which will be handed to the clients in the near future.

Well where did that year go?!

Happy new year to you all.

It is now 2021. I have been busy all year with loft conversions, 2 new build houses in Bristol, a new house in Mark, conversions of redundant buildings into dwellings, trying to obtain planning for a development of 3 houses in Milton (currently reassessing the flood risk), numerous extensions etc...

It has been an extremely busy time and I am currently working on an extension for a fast food outlet in Yeovil, providing advice on an on-going remodelling of a house in Woking, remodelling of a flat on Weston sea front, remodelling of a house in Sand Bay as well as various extensions and loft conversions.

I have also recently obtained planning permission for an additional floor on a building in Weston town centre, to create 4 penthouse flats.

I have a few measured surveys to carry out so that I can progress the designs of some projects.

I am pleased to say that I have been busy throughout the last year - thanks to recommendations by clients and builders.

It has been a busy few months which has resulted in me not updating this page.
Now that we are in full lockdown, I can spend a little time here.

So what is there to report since my previous post?

There have been numerous enquiries and I am working on several projects, having seen construction completed on a substantial reorganisation/alterations to a house in WsM.
The following projects are some of those currently in hand:

Large 2 storey extension, Southmead, Bristol - negotiating with the planning officer and redesigning, with planning approval due to be issued soon.

New house in Bleadon. Designed and about to submit for planning approval

Extensions and alterations to a house near Reading - on going

Conversion of outbuildings to create an air b&b in WsM -awaiting instructions

2 storey extension in Banwell - design stage

3 new houses WsM - design underway following a pre-application consultation

Conversion of school changing rooms to dwelling, Burtle - building regulations drawings.

2 new houses in Bedminster Bristol - clearing planning conditions and preparation of working drawings.

Single storey extension to house in St Georges, WsM - recently submitted as a prior approval notice.
