This week my daughter and I headed to London Design Week in Chelsea. It’s always so inspiring and lovely to share the day with Kitty who is equally as passionate about textiles as I am! We thoroughly enjoyed the talk on colour from Sophie Robinson at the Sanderson unit and saw lots of exciting new fabrics and designs throughout the day with other suppliers. Including the new Kit Kemp designs at GP&J Baker.

Yesterday we had such an inspiring day at Decorex, an interiors event at Olympia in London.
We met up with some of our lovely reps from our existing supply chain but also created some new accounts with new suppliers. They’ll be some really lovely new fabrics and books on their way to K&H HQ. Please get in touch if you’d like some help to inspire and create your dream projects.

A sourcing trip….one of my current briefs is to find rugs to tie in with a new scheme and a super-comfy modular sofa for a new home, that will stand the test of time! So a visit to the William Yeoward showroom in London was needed and I came away with lots of lovely rug samples and furniture ideas. Watch this space for the final decisions…

Some of our larger projects start at the initial building phase and take months of careful planning. We work closely with our clients and the building contractors to achieve our client’s dream interiors. This project is now coming to an end as we look forward to adding the finishing touches.

Soft voiles and crisp linens. This is a great example of softening a room with plain, subtle but textured fabrics as window dressings. Curtains are not always required for privacy but they do help to dress a room and soften the space.

We’ve got a busy few weeks of fitting coming up after a 2 week holiday so watch out for lots of photos hopefully to inspire you ready for the winter months…..Firstly some initial photos from our shutter fitting today. White 50mm Louvre shutters into a bay window with split Louvre opening so that you can operate the top half independently to the lower half. And the side window concertina into 3 sections to allow for the window openings. Next fits this week are some beautiful full-length voile curtains. Photos to post later in the week.
