This is what a room-sized Heriz does to a sitting room.

It anchors the sofa and chairs, picks up the greens and reds in the curtains, and makes a big room feel warm. Antique rugs are made for rooms that are lived in.

Thinking about a rug for your own room? We'll bring a selection to your home so you can see them in your own light, free and with no obligation.

Look closer. Every flower in this rug was tied by hand, one knot at a time, around a century ago.

The most striking rug in the gallery right now.

Serapi is the name dealers give the finest Heriz rugs from northwest Persia.

This one has a bold terracotta medallion on an ivory field, drawn in the confident, geometric style the region is known for. Rugs like this are hard-wearing, and they get better with use.

Vintage Persian Heriz Serapi · 355 × 271 cm · £6,800

See it at our Weybridge gallery, or book a home visit and we'll bring it to you.

Working on a scheme? Here's how we work with interior designers.

-Hold a rug while your client decides.
-Try it in situ before anyone commits.
-Send us a mood board, sizes, and a budget, and we'll shortlist pieces from the gallery and beyond.
-Ask for high-resolution photos and daylight video for your client presentation.

Every rug is chosen by Nasim, who has spent more than 40 years with antique rugs and began as a restorer. He'll tell you honestly how a piece was made, how it has worn, and where it will work.

Designers and stylists: join our designer programme via the link in our bio, or DM us.
