There’s something about curtains that instantly makes a room feel more finished.

They add softness, warmth and texture, while giving you plenty of opportunity to bring colour or pattern into your space.

With made-to-measure curtains, it’s all in the details - the right fabric, heading, length and fit can completely transform both the window and the room around it.

And if you’re not sure where to start? Our experts can help you find the perfect look for your home: https://www.apollo-blinds.co.uk/colchester

Some windows just suit a little softness.
Roman Blinds bring the look and feel of fabric to your window, but with the neat finish of a blind. They’re a lovely choice for bedrooms and living spaces, where you want the room to feel warm, comfortable and pulled together.

Choose from plains, patterns and textures, with different lining options depending on how much light you want to let in - or keep out.
And because every Apollo Roman Blind is made to measure, the finished result is tailored perfectly to your window.

Which would you choose - a statement pattern or a soft neutral?

14/10/2026

You shouldn’t have to choose between privacy and daylight. But so many homes do.
This is why shutters, voiles and light-filtering blinds are having a moment - they let the room breathe while still keeping you comfortably hidden from the street.

A softer way to do privacy.

Have you seen our new made-to-measure Curtains & Roman Blinds collection yet? There's soft sage, olive and willow greens, ochre, cocoa, indigo, ginger and warm neutrals - alongside beautiful botanicals, stripes and patterns.

Choose a statement print to add personality to a neutral room, keep things beautifully understated with a versatile plain, or coordinate fabrics across curtains, Roman blinds and accessories for a look that flows throughout your space.

Say hello to Soulful Sage 🌿
Dulux's Colour of the Year 2027 feels made for autumn interiors - and it's particularly easy to introduce at the window. Try a plain sage blind for a clean block of colour, or introduce it more subtly with a patterned Roman blind or curtain.
We love how sage creates that connection between your home and the outdoors.

Got an awkward window? It doesn’t have to mean compromising on style.

Arched, angled, triangular or unusually shaped windows can be some of the most striking features in a home - and with made-to-measure blinds or shutters, you can dress them beautifully while still getting the privacy and light control you need.

Because when it comes to windows, one size definitely doesn’t fit all. Book a free home appointment and our experts will bring the collection to you: https://www.apollo-blinds.co.uk/colchester

Would you bring Luminous Blue into your home? 💙
Named by WGSN and Coloro as a key colour for 2027, Luminous Blue is an intense, glowing shade sitting somewhere between sapphire and cobalt.

At the window, a strong blue like this can work beautifully as an accent against warm neutrals, crisp whites and natural wood - whether you go bold with a block-colour blind or introduce it through a patterned fabric.

Could you see this colour in your home?

Who says your windows have to play it safe?

A statement print can completely change the feel of a room - adding colour, pattern and personality without the commitment of redecorating the whole space.

From bold botanicals to graphic patterns, a made-to-measure blind can become a real feature in its own right.

Would you go bold at your windows?
