What fine specimens of men 🤣

Tonight we had the trials for the brand new Trimline five-a-side football/soccer team!

Team Matt vs Team Michael...

I believe the final score was 30-9 to Team Matt, although Team Michael did a fabulous job. Some say the teams were fixed since Matt was the organiser... 🤔

The challenge now will be choosing the final team for the local Hampshire company five-a-side league which starts later this year.

As you can see, we have some lovely new branded gear - so regardless how we do in the league, I think we'll almost certainly win the 'brightest kit' competition.

I suspect the lift in the office will see a lot of action tomorrow, no-one will be taking the stairs!

Providing support for our onsite teams during a drydock is vital - whether that's the continual stream of support from the team back in the office, the logistics crews at the yard, our client's PMs, or from the ship's crew - and when thousands of contractors are all trying to get a job done on a ship during a short two-week drydock window, that support becomes all the more important.

All too often that support and camaraderie goes unacknowledged, so at Trimline we try to make a point of saying 'thank you' whenever we can.

☕ *Especially* when it involves ensuring the absolutely vital supply of English Breakfast Tea for one of our Project Managers, without which he would have ground to a halt within the first 24 hours 🤣

🙏 So a big thank you to the Starbucks crew on-board Norwegian Cruise Line Getaway, who gained a new t-shirt today, as a little gesture and a personal thank you from our tea-drinking PM Matthew Shortt.

Another company night out, which always ends up being somewhat competitive. First ten-pin bowling, then shuffleboard. Congrats to Dale for the overall win on the bowling, and the warehouse team on shuffleboard success.

Several things learnt during the evening:

1) apparently you can buy specialist 'bowling' gloves, as enthusiastically demonstrated by our own Matt Shortt. Who knew?!

2) shuffleboard is an amazing game, and is now on the office Christmas list (it would look lovely in our breakout area, although we may get less work done as a result...)

It's nice to get everyone out of the office once in a while - a few sore heads this morning though!

After three years of change, and our recent move into our lovely new facilities in Whiteley, we felt it was about time to bring our branding into line with 'New Trimline'. So today, we are officially launching that new branding, plus the new website at www.trimline.co.uk

We hope everyone who has worked with us on our journey over the last few years agrees that we have made a considerable transformation - whether you are a sub-contractor, supplier, customer or indeed you work here, thank you! Change isn't easy, we still have plenty of work to do and a great many plans for the future. We appreciate your support as we continue on our journey.

Our incredible team is meticulously adding the final touches to the project onboard Nieuw Amsterdam in the Bahamas.

Among these tasks is the installation and finishing of an impressive 1,000m of handrails - greater than the height of Burj Khalifa and 3.5 times the height of the Eiffel Tower.
