Sunset Over Dunnet Head

This is the view from my mums house so it’s one I’d been wanting to make for a while.

I’ve used sari silk, chiffon, organza, denim, lace, net, and other fabrics. It’s finished with seed beads, sequin and sea glass.

Paradise

The next of my pictures in the Society of Caithness Artists exhibition in Thurso.

This one has sari silk, chiffon, organza, denim, lace and other repurposed fabrics. It’s stitched with metallic thread and finished with seed beads, sea glass and two Groatie Buckie’s.

Dreaming of Sinclair’s Bay

The first of my textile art pieces currently on display at the Society of Caithness Artists annual exhibition in Thurso.

Created using ice dyed fabric, painted fabric, sari silk, various recycled fabrics, denim, lace, net, organza and book pages. Finished with a mother of pearl button and seed beads.
