We'll be opening a little later than usual today as our whole team is off-site for a meeting this morning.

The Results of the Muddy Stilettos Awards 2026 were published this week.

💐Thank you to everyone - customers, friends, family and neighbour businesses who voted for Chelsea Flowers 💐

Whilst we didn't win, we're incredibly proud to have been finalists in the Best Florist category for the second year running.

Congratulations to all the winners and fellow finalists, with a special mention to our neighbours and .

(It feels pretty special that three finalists are all within a short walk of each other on our lovely Chapel Lane )

We'll be proudly displaying the 'Cheshire Finalist' roundel on our website!

🌸 Day 3 of Connection Bouquets 🌸

We're now on Day 3 of our Connection Bouquets initiative for Loneliness Awareness Week, joining florists up and down the UK in spreading kindness and encouraging connection within our communities.

Each of our bouquets carries a message of friendship, conversation and community spirit.

We've had some lovely feedback today from a finder who has passed the flowers on to a neighbour - exactly the kind of response we've been hoping for!💐

Today, our Connection Bouquets were a lovely sunny yellow. They contain a card message, kindly supplied to us by The Paper Studio explaining to the finder that we have left them in support of Loneliness Awareness Week. This is part of an initiative in conjunction with other florists, to highlight this important cause.

Hosted by Marmalade Trust, Loneliness Awareness Week is the world's largest campaign to inspire conversations about loneliness and promote connection activities happening across the world.

Chelsea Flowers is delighted to be supporting Loneliness Awareness Week from 15th–21st June, joining florists across the UK in helping to spread kindness and connection within our communities.

Over the course of the week, we’ll be placing a number of our special 'Connection Bouquets' in various local locations for people to find and enjoy. Each bouquet will include a message designed to encourage conversation, friendship and meaningful connections.

Loneliness can touch people of all ages and backgrounds. A simple act of kindness can make a real difference, whether it’s brightening someone’s day, sparking a conversation, or reminding them that others care.

If you come across one of our Connection Bouquets, we’d love for you to take it home, snap a photo, and let us know where you found it.

Keep an eye out throughout the week – you never know where a little floral surprise might appear! 🌸

🌸 Celebrating Wilmslow Wells for Africa Garden's Day Saturday 27th June 🌸

Our June shop window is dedicated to the wonderful WWFA Garden's Day, and we hope you'll enjoy our floral tribute when you visit us to buy your tickets!

This much-loved annual event gives you the chance to explore 19+ beautiful gardens across Wilmslow, Alderley Edge, Handforth, Mobberley and Mottram St Andrew, each offering inspiration, creativity and plenty of gardening ideas. Some gardens will also have refreshments and plant sales.

We are absolutely delighted to share that we have been nominated, alongside 24 other amazing Florist businesses throughout the UK, for 'Retail Florist of the Year' in the 2026 BFA Industry Awards! 💐✨

Being recognised by the British Florist Association is a huge honour, and a testament to the passion, creativity and dedication of our team.

There is a submission process, and all entries will be reviewed and scored by a panel of industry experts. If we're lucky enough to reach the finals, we will be asking for your votes!
