Hello Autumn 🍂

This shift in the seasons is always such an exciting one in the world of floristry. We welcome a whole new set of beautiful flowers, the colours start to change and everything suddenly feels a little bit more golden ✨

When I first fell in love with flowers, I dreamed of finding a little corner of the world where I could potter about, try things out and ask all the questions that popped into my head. Somewhere I could make a wonky arrangement, learn from it, have another go and slowly discover my own way of doing things.

That’s exactly what I’ve had in mind while building the Online Flower School: a place where everyone feels welcome, whatever their experience, and where learning floristry feels fun. Because floristry makes you feel good, and I want everyone to experience that! I’m always on hand in our community to answer questions and help everyone feel at home.

I think younger me would have been SO excited to find something like this, and that makes me feel quite emotional, actually 🥹🩷

The Happy Blossoms Online Flower School is becoming everything I hoped it would be, and we’re only just getting started 🌸✨

Creating the flowers for someone you’ve known for so many years really is something else. Blousy pinks, soft whites, phalaenopsis orchids and anthuriums for the most gorgeous London wedding at the iconic Old Marylebone Town Hall ✨☁️

Using stems as a flower support means you don’t need any fancy mechanics! You just need cut stems that can sit in your chosen container! These rose stems worked really well in my mantle vase - just top up with water!

Ensure to keep cutting the stems of any flowers this week and changing the water as regularly as possible with this continued hot weather!
