Did you know that I love to make a custom order, that extra special piece of jewellery which has your name written all over it, that makes you smile when you wear it.

Here are a few custom orders I have made over the last three years since opening my little shop/studio here at so take a browse through the designs and if you would like me to help you with a unique design then please pop by my studio here at Walford Mill Crafts in Wimborne and I would be happy to discuss your design.

My studio/shop is open Wednesday to Saturday - 10am-5pm and Sunday - 11am-4pm

1st August - what an incredible day we all had. We celebrated 40 years of the mill being open and 40 years of Debby Kirby Silk Weaver working her magic on her loom. It was also my 3rd year anniversary being a maker in the mill and Wendy’s 1st anniversary.

There was music in the courtyard by DJ Jez, Pims and a BBQ. Debby looked stunning in her lime green dress and sooooo many people came to celebrate her final exhibition. Lots of emotional speeches from the Chief, Donna and Debs. The atmosphere was incredible and we didn’t want it to end. Plus I sold one our collaborative pictures to a lovely couple so feeling very grateful. So here’s to another few more years in the mill, I don’t want any of this to stop and hope to keep on doing what I’m doing for a few more years yet and I’m in the best place with the best company so I count myself a very lucky bean!

Life has been very hectic recently and posting has taken a back seat. I took myself off for a much needed walk this evening, earphones in while I observed everything around me and it was just glorious walking through the local woods, around the field while listening to my favourite tunes.

Take time out for yourself, it’s so important and keep creating.

Apologies for not posting on my grid but I have been working hard in the background preparing for a busy couple of weeks coming up.

First I’m back at this Saturday at Allendale House, really love doing this fabulous craft fair which will be full of amazing creatives.

A new a very exciting collaboration with the amazing

Debby has her final exhibition here at opening on the 1st August and has kindly let me create a couple of hand painted clay landscape scenes, which she has woven together on her loom with her beautiful hand dyed silk threads. It’s been such an exciting opportunity to work alongside Debby and something we have talked about doing over the last couple of years. So to see two of my clay images come together in silk, framed ready for her exhibition is a dream come true.
