On rainy days, the home carries the mood. Timber warmth meets softly plastered walls as light drifts gently across the interiors. Thresholds dissolve, creating a seamless flow from room to room and out to the garden beyond. As the year draws to a close, we hope you have enjoyed a restful festive period filled with good food, merriment, and time with loved ones.

As we reflect on 2025, Lauren and the INKSPACE team would like to sincerely thank our clients and consultants for a year defined by hard work, commitment, and the creation of beautiful architecture and considered spaces. 

Looking ahead, we are excited for the creativity, projects and opportunities that 2026 will bring - we can’t wait to share what is to come!

After a well-earned break, the INKSPACE team will return to the studio on Monday 5th January 2026, ready to embrace a new year of design and collaboration.

We are delighted to share the completion of Beaulieu Cottage, a full refurbishment of a detached family home in the heart of the New Forest.

Materiality and craftsmanship take centre stage throughout, with timber detailing, natural textures and a carefully curated palette highlighting the skill and dedication behind the interiors.

Completed in Autumn 2025, Beaulieu Cottage now harmoniously blends contemporary living with its cherished forest setting - a serene home for family life and quiet reflection.

Continuing to separate spaces but let natural light through! We went to visit our clients, who have recently completed the renovation of their beautiful home by the sea. Before, the house had gorgeous proportions but the flow of the spaces was dated. Now, it’s light, bright and modern but still makes the most of the house’s original 1930’s style.
