Kimwrightflowers Kim Wright Flowers, based in Windsor, creating artistic, elegant and natural floral designs for wedd I feel I have the privilege of being the messenger.

Being a florist allows me to play a small part in some of the most important occasions in people's lives, both happy and sad, and what I've learnt over the years is that people use flowers to show love. I favour a very natural look, selecting flowers that seem like they would occur together in a beautiful garden. My work is heavily inspired by art and the past - I play with scale, colour, balance

and scent. My type is wildly romantic and elegant, antique pink roses are my favourites, and I feel very lucky to be able to work with such amazing flowers, and lovely people, every day.

🌸 🌼🌸Royal Windsor Flower Show 🌸🌼🌸

Set in the stunning grounds of Windsor Great Park, the Royal Windsor Flower Show is a celebration of gardening, nature, creativity, and British tradition. From floral displays and show gardens to artisan food, crafts, live music, and family activities, it’s the perfect summer day out for garden lovers and families alike.

Organised by the Royal Windsor Rose & Horticultural Society, this historic event combines classic flower show elegance with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. This year’s theme, “Rooted in Nature,” highlights sustainability and our connection to the natural world.

Over the past few years, I’ve entered competitions at the Royal Windsor Flower Show, won a few awards, and taken part in volunteering work as well.

I’ll be volunteering again at this year’s show, so hopefully I’ll see some of you there.

The air smells so wonderfully like summer this morning.
My lovely neighbour knocked on my door and invited me to cut some flowers from his garden for my arrangements. I’ll be like a little girl in a sweet shop, surrounded by all those beautiful flowers there.
I’m off to his garden now with my scissors. ✂️🌼

My fragrant climbing roses have burst into bloom over the past few days.
As though they know exactly when their season has come, they hold their patience quietly until, at last, they open into their loveliest selves.

I brought a few of the early blooms indoors.
Their fragrance slowly fills the room and I find myself sitting beside them for quite a while, having silent conversations with the flowers. Without saying a word, the roses seem to gently remind me what this season is meant to hold.

향이 짙은 나의 덩굴장미가 며칠 사이 많이 피어났다.
자신들의 계절을 정확히 알고 있다는 듯, 긴 기다림을 품고 있다가 마침내 가장 아름다운 모습으로 꽃을 열어 보인다.
먼저 피어난 몇 송이를 조심스레 안으로 데려왔다.
은은한 향이 방 안에 천천히 번지고, 나는 꽃들을 마주보며 이야기를 건넨다. 장미는 아무 말 없이도 이 계절의 마음을 가만히 알려주는 것 같다.
