A DREAM TURNING INTO REALITY! 🖤

After months of hard work, long days and plenty of determination, we’re finally putting the finishing touches on our brand-new showroom!

What started as a dream is now almost a reality, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve created.

Our official opening is Monday 2nd November! 🎉

We’re just completing the final displays, with some beautiful blinds, curtains and finishing touches still to come.

We can’t wait to welcome you through the doors and show you what we’ve been working so hard on.

Some windows really do test your patience! 😅

This beautiful beachfront property in Hunstanton was certainly one of them!

We were tasked with installing a motorised free-hanging cellular blind into this stunning apex window. Sounds straightforward enough… absolutely not!

The ceiling was out, the walls were out, the floor was out, and just about every angle we measured was different. Nothing was straightforward with this one.

I’ll be honest, this was one of those installations that really tested us. But walking away wasn’t an option. We stuck with it, worked through the problems and made it work.

And looking at the finished result, I’m so pleased we did. Had Dan install this as we had to discuss every hurdle we had to get over, to get it right.

A beautiful blind, a stunning window and an incredible view out to sea. 🌊

Sometimes it’s the most challenging jobs that give you the most satisfaction.

It’s really starting to feel like a showroom now 🙌

Another big step forward today — the carpet tiles are down, all the lighting is in and I’m genuinely so pleased with how it’s looking.

Massive thank you to my brother Louis at Bourne Flooring for getting the flooring sorted for us 👏

We’re now at that exciting stage where we’re waiting for all the displays and samples to be made and fitted. I don’t want to put an exact opening date on it just yet, but we really aren’t far away now.

It’s been a lot of work getting to this point, but walking around it today and seeing it all coming together makes it worthwhile.

Not long now… 👀

A bit of a proud dad post this one 👍

My eldest son has been with us for nearly two years now, learning the trade and working alongside Dan, our main fitter.

A lot of the credit has to go to Dan. He’s spent the last two years showing him the ropes, teaching him properly and passing on his experience. That time and guidance has definitely paid off.

He’s only been out fitting on his own for around four weeks now, and I’ve got to say, he’s doing a cracking job.

We’ve already had quite a few customers phone and email us afterwards to say how polite he was, how tidy he worked and how pleased they were with the finished job.

I think sometimes young people don’t always get given enough of a chance these days. But give someone the right training, time, guidance and the opportunity to prove themselves, and they can surprise you.

Still plenty to learn — as there is for all of us — but at nearly 19, he’s doing really well and I’m very proud of him.

And a big thank you to Dan for helping get him to this point 👏
