When your brother gets married you can't not do the flowers 😉

Not working with flowers daily is something I've gotten used to but I can't say I like it, so when occasions come along to bring me out of retirement it's a breath of fresh (or scented) air 💐

*Business update*

A few months ago this little superstar was diagnosed with a very rare neurodevelopmental syndrome called Xia-Gibbs Syndrome.

Our life since then has changed and we learn something new everyday.

I've now made the decision to close First Blush permanently.

Flowers will always be something I love and enjoy. Maybe one day I'll get back to where I once was.

I'd like to thank every single person who has supported my little business over the last (almost) 10 years. I'll be forever grateful 🥰

I'll post some pics of the wonderful weddings I've been part of so far this year, I have 1 left to go before the workshop closes.

Ps. There's also a pupil of the week in this household tonight 🤩

It really has helped make a very difficult situation a little bit easier.

The time has come to say goodbye....for now 😢

I've made the very difficult decision to take an extended (perhaps permanent) break from the business to care for my precious little Ruby.

Over the past 9 years I have loved my job, I've loved meeting so many lovely brides and customers who I now consider friends.

I appreciate every single person who has supported me and trusted me time and time again to create beautiful flowers 💐

But for now I need to put all of my energy into caring for my family, I hope that everyone will understand and know how brokenhearted I am to be in this position 💔

I'm still fully committed to providing wedding flowers to any of my couples who choose to get married this year so there may still be a few flowery pics to see.

My order book and future wedding diary are now closed.

Thank you lovely people, I'll miss you guys x

My precious little Ruby turned 1 on Friday 🥳🎂😍😭

I've been very quiet since the madness of Christmas wreaths but will be easing myself back into some wedding admin over the coming days.

My order book and wedding diary are still currently closed and will remain so until I work out the best way to proceed in these unprecedented times we all find ourselves in.

As we prepare to say goodbye to 2020 with all of its ups and downs I'd like to wish you all a belated Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year.

In these uncertain times I don't have a set date for reopening my order book. As many of you know my little Ruby has some health concerns and therefore needs a little extra care.

With weddings still being heavily restricted in numbers and postponed further that leaves me with much less regular flower deliveries and therefore less availability for everyday flowers.

Sadly the first flowers I will have in the New Year will be for my beautiful Gran who passed away on Boxing Day.

If this year has taught me anything it's to take one day at a time and be very grateful for everything you have right now. So much has changed since this time last year....

Let's hope 2021brings us all a little of what we wish for 💕

Garage is open and there are limited wreaths left to be collected.

Collections for all GRAVESIDE wreaths is tomorrow and Sunday from 12-3pm.

Remaining balances can be paid in cash (please bring correct amount) or bank transfer.

The final door wreath is up.... Ours!!

Which means the graveside wreaths have commenced.

Collections will be Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th Dec between 12-3pm.

All DOOR WREATHS will be ready for collection this Saturday and Sunday between 12-3pm.

Remaining balances can be paid in cash (please bring correct amount) or by bank transfer.

Please be mindful that you are collecting from my home (well, garage) and I am only available during these times.

Also, in the current climate I ask that you follow the procedures I will have in place for selecting your choice of wreath and do not enter the garage itself.
