Some exciting times here at Reference Audio. We have just received delivery of the new DALI Loudspeakers Kore. Their new flagship speaker features some familiar Dali design cues but much was redesign from the ground up to enable them to push the boundaries of audio reproduction. So needless to say we were more than excited to see what they could do!

Was a long day but a rewarding one building this system up. Featuring Gryphon Audio Designs Pandora Pre, Antileon Evo stereo power amp, Kalliope DAC, sources: Innuos statement server (next gen) and SME Synergy (v2) turntable. All this feeding the Bowers & Wilkins 801 d4 speakers. Oh and not to mention the Gryphon Standart Rack and plinth to house all the equipment. Fantastic system and with the large vaulted ceiling there was a fair amount of volume to fill but even out of the box the 801 d4 delivered an enveloping bass response kept tight and under control perfectly by the Antileon power amp. Customer was delighted and we were reluctant to leave as it was sounding so good.

Recently Reference Audio, we have been fortunate enough to install one of the most spectacular pair of speakers we have come across so far in terms of both sound and build quality, upgrading from the Marten Parker Quintet (Diamond Edition). Entirely handmade in Sweden, The Marten Coltrane 3 (Statement Edition) which include Jorma Statement internal cabling, are some of the most balanced, deep yet incredibly defined pair of speakers we've had not only the pleasure of listening to; but making a client of ours especially happy. What a real honour! Although these are clearly a dream pair of speakers for any discerning audiophile, we are able to cater for budgets of most values.

The RS180.

Seems to be that certain HIFI pieces generate a real cult following, and the RS180 could certainly be one of those pieces.

With an exposed volume control mechanism featuring Gallium Nitrate to the huge variation of amplifier configurations it is a flexible performer, matching perfectly with the RS150.

We welcomed today the new .eu Blade 1 Meta. As with any new speaker we have a running in schedule, we don't expect too much from a speaker straight out of the box, but if these are only going to get better the we are in for a real treat. Using a full setup we Listened to the prominent bass notes at the start of Bob Dylans "Man in the long black coat" which reveals the speakers power and control, and as the Harmonica arrives its almost ethereal, floating Into the soundscape.

We will run these for the remainder of the week to make sure they are ready for demonstration, but by all means if you want to hear them now then don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed!
