Designing a master bedroom that feels both contemporary and deeply connected to its influences.

Inspired by modern Indian interiors, this scheme combines warm woods, natural textures, and refined detailing to create a space that feels calm, grounded, and restorative.

As with every project, the design began with the layout, carefully considering how the room would be used, how it would flow, and how it could support moments of rest and retreat.

From the floor plan to the material palette, every decision has been made with longevity, comfort, and quiet luxury in mind.

We're excited to share the journey as this space moves from concept to reality.

Most of the time, it’s reduced to just bi-folding doors and open spaces.

But that’s not actually what makes a space feel connected.

If the palette clashes, the materials don’t relate, or the layout doesn’t flow…the inside and outside will always feel separate.

Good design isn’t about opening things up.

From soft, tactile fabrics to nature-inspired details, every element was selected to offer guests a warm and restorative experience, where relaxation comes naturally.

This ensuite was completely reimagined to make the space work harder both practically and aesthetically. By redesigning the layout, we were able to maximise storage, improve functionality and create a much calmer flow throughout the room.

The finished scheme combines heritage-inspired chalky blues and soft mint tones with warm brass accents and timeless marble finishes for a layered, hotel-inspired feel that feels both elegant and inviting.

Proof that thoughtful design can completely transform how a space looks, feels and functions.
