Well, hello there 2026, allow us to reintroduce ourselves...

Shop in the Square (yes, we were originally located in a square) is an independent gift shop, based in Wolverhampton, with one mission: to support local creative businesses and give them a space to sell on the high street.

We currently have 20 artisans displaying their creations in store, and since our creation in 2013, we have moved location 5 times to allow our small business platform to continue to thrive, and we are currently located on the Lower Mall of the Mander Centre.

In 2024, we took in the fantastic Wolverhampton Fair Trade after they were made shop-less by the arrival of a big name corporation in the shopping centre who bought up their shop space.

One shop, now housing two awesome businesses with the same aim - supporting the little guy!

We have an incredible loyal customer base, and new people continue to discover us everyday!

So, don't forget about us when searching for unique, one of a kind, handmade gifts and treats this year...

Here's to another year of supporting local independent businesses and shopping small!!
