A bittersweet day!

Had fun putting together a whimsigoth display for British Heart Foundation Wolverhampton, however today was my last day!

Aside from finding new trinkets for my collection, I have loved promoting sustainable second hand fashion and building my Visual Merchandising experience over the last 12 months! โœจ I also got to use my illustration skills to create some chalkboard signs for inside and outside the store!

Thankyou British Heart Foundation for a fun and creative year ๐Ÿ–ค

Some of the Visual Merchandising I've done lately for British Heart Foundation!

Now that we're fully into autumn, I've been loving finding witchy/whimsigoth items in our shop to use in window displays. Having only the stock that's been donated that week means that I have to be more creative in putting themes and outfits together, but honestly I think your creativity shines more when you have limited tools to work with.

My final creation for ! I had a blast making this one, as medical illustration is something I'm really interested in. I'd love to go to a medical museum someday!

My third piece for ! This took me around a week to complete, but I wanted to create a zine themed around the Catacomb Saints kept by the Vatican, which were exhumed from Roman catacombs.

These skeletons were not actually those of supposed Saints, but rather ancient Christians martyrs who gave their lives and bodies to be adorned and bejeweled after death, posing as representations of Saints.

For July, which is , I've been working on a few fun things I'm so excited to share with you!

"Hell Mouth" is an ode to medieval jesters, creepy carnivals, and the medieval painting tradition of giant hellish mouths containing the souls of the damned!

I am so excited to be working on more and three-dimensional works, and I hope you'll come along with me as I make them!

Today's craft is using my handpainted flower press to preserve some more flower petals for my collection! ๐ŸŒผ

I have quite a few of these jars, and some of the petals are 5+ years old, still with pigment! ๐Ÿƒ

Would you try this craft? Which flower would you like to collect? ๐Ÿค”
