I’ve just finished this one and I’m really pleased with how all the different elements have come together.
Handmade from birch ply, the box has been stained using a combination of ebony and walnut, before being given a waxed finish to bring out the character of the wood.
The lid features an intricate Tree of Life design with ravens, twisting branches, leaves and vines. The design has been 3D printed and finished with pewter wax, giving it an aged metallic appearance that contrasts beautifully against the dark wood.
Inside, I’ve added a custom 3D printed PLA removable tray with two compartments, with a larger storage space underneath.

It’s ideal for storing tarot or oracle cards, crystals, jewellery, keepsakes, spiritual tools or simply those little treasures that deserve somewhere special.
This is a lovely meeting of two things I really enjoy – traditional woodcraft and modern 3D printing – resulting in something a little different from an ordinary wooden box.
