We are always prepared to accept a challenge when others wilted & walked away and this village hall floor was certainly a challenge. We had to remove multiple layers of lacquer and polish that had been applied over a 50 year period to expose this considerably lighter Granwood floor. It took us a little longer that expected but with perseverance we got over the line and the hall will be back in use on Monday.

We supplied this engineered oak floor to the customer almost 15 years ago and they recently reached out to us and asked us to refurbish the floor as it was starting to look a little tired. It had been installed in their kitchen which is known to be one of the most trafficked floors in domestic houses but with a light sand and two coats of clear satin hardwax-oil along with their hardener additive the floor once again looks like new and ready for the next 15 years

A 5am start for us today, to do a final polish over the floors. We had a narrow time window to complete the work on this lovely cottage in the heart of Woodbridge. We were instructed to sand and refinish all of the oak flooring, apply a paste wax to all of the internal oak doors, remove a stud wall and patch in the flooring accordingly using new oak boards. The new owner completed on the purchase last Friday and is moving in today. All complete and ready to be lived in again.

An early 5am start for us today, we are making the 150 mile road trip to Reading. We are going to undertake the first phase of a repair and refinish of a chevron oak floor. The existing floor is an unusual size which the client found was no longer available so they put in a call to us to see if we can help. We do enjoy a challenge, we have already hand cut 25m2 of new blocks to match the original 🤞and over the next 2 days we will be repairing the floors ahead of phase 2 when we will be returning to sand & finish the entire ground floor area.
