Halloween has officially landed at Cornucopia 🎃🍂

Earlier than ever this year because you guys have been asking for it… and we couldn’t keep it hidden away upstairs any longer 👻

The shop is now full of pumpkins, ghosts, witches and all things autumnal, while Christmas is very quietly creeping in upstairs… 🎄😂

September at Cornucopia really is something else. 🤎

A little introduction to us 🤍

For those who are new here, hello - we’re Cornucopia Home & Gift, a mother & daughter-run independent in the heart of Worcester.

Cornucopia has been around since 1985, and more than 40 years later, we still love what we do: filling the shop with things we’d genuinely choose for our own homes, thoughtful gifts and plenty of little things you didn’t know you needed.

Today, Cornucopia is run by mum & daughter, Clare and Hannah, alongside our lovely team who help make the shop what it is. Between us, there’s always something being unpacked, rearranged, displayed or planned for the next season 🤍

Whether you’ve been shopping with us for years, pop in every week, or have only just found us on here, we’re so glad you’re here. 🤍

Anyone else think a bow makes EVERYTHING better? 🎀

My favourite little corner of the shop at the moment 🤎 I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of seeing all the Emma Bridgewater together… although the bows on the drawers might be my favourite addition.

Autumn colours, far too many mugs and bows on absolutely everything - very Cornucopia 😂🍂

Autumn Jellycats have officially entered the building 🍂🤎

And I fear they may be some of our favourites yet…

Rockleton, Bretti Yeti, Ort & Tum Acorns, Trixiwoo Raccoon, Mulshi Woodland Floor, Peanut’s Yeti Outfit AND Bartholomew looking like he’s off for a weekend in the Cotswolds 🥹🍁

They’re all in store now, with more autumn Jellycat arrivals still to come 👀

Consider this your warning that popping in “just for a look” may not go to plan… 🤎

We’ve had SO many messages about Fizzleskip Bunny 🐰🍊 and as much as we’d love to reply to every single one, we simply can’t keep up 😂

So, a little update for everyone asking… Fizzleskip Bunny IS on its way to Cornucopia! 🤎

We don’t have an exact arrival date just yet, but the second those little stripy ears arrive through our doors, we’ll let you know right here on Instagram.

Keep your eyes peeled 👀🐰
He’s coming… and apparently half of you are already waiting for him 😂🍂

When you’re only halfway through putting Halloween out… and get a little sidetracked 🎃👻🍂

We’ve still got LOTS more Halloween to come, but we’re already slightly obsessed with how it’s all coming together.

Apparently, taking it one season at a time isn’t really our thing around here 😂

And judging by how much you’re already loving it… we don’t think we’re the only ones ready for spooky season. 🖤

September in a home and gift shop is basically just… losing all sense of what’s considered a reasonable number of pumpkins. 🎃🍂

It starts innocently enough.

“Shall we just put a few autumn bits out?”

And then suddenly there are ghosts hanging from the ceiling, witches in the windows and pumpkins occupying every available surface.

No regrets though. We’re autumn people now. 🤎

Before we show you what we were up to last night… can we have one last moment for Window No. 1? 🍂🤎

We spent the whole evening transforming Window No. 2 for Halloween 🎃 (and we’re very excited to show you), but it felt wrong to move on without properly appreciating this one.

All the warm autumn colours, berries, leaves and those little details that make the shop feel completely different at this time of year.

Forever a fall girl 🍁

What you see vs what you don’t see… 👀🍂

September in a gift shop is basically one big seasonal identity crisis. Downstairs we’re making everything look beautifully autumnal, arranging pumpkins, changing displays and moving the same stem around until it looks just right… while upstairs Christmas is quietly taking over. 🎄 Boxes are arriving faster than we can unpack them, stock is being squeezed into every possible corner and somehow we’re all expected to know exactly where everything is at any given moment. 😂

It might look calm and cosy from the shop floor, but behind the scenes it’s organised chaos… and we wouldn’t really have it any other way. 🤎
