👋 It’s been a while since we shared progress of this project, and we’ve been very busy trying to get it in motion! Here’s the story so far…

1. Purchase based on successful planning permission only. ☝️

2. planning application submitted. Old carpet shop conversion to a 2 bed cottage with roof terrace. 😎

3. REJECTION from the planning office based on new a condition from Shropshire council: Ecology report must be included (it is unheard of to reject on this term! Usually they just ask for it!) 😤

4. RESUBMITTED application! For those of you who are unaware, you get one ‘free go’ to resubmit if your application gets rejected. 🤞

5. A few disagreements with the architect on layout of the property (still ongoing 🙈)

It’s not all doom and gloom!! 😅Planning will be granted, and our ecology report is clear from bats!🦇🦇

But it’s important to share our hurdles aswell as our success. We are always learning on this journey, and just as it is with all aspects of property investment: It is NEVER straightforward!
