Our Most Expensive Rewire Yet…

We take on all sorts of electrical work some in affluent areas, but this job was on another level.

Last year we were approached by the PA of a very high net-worth individual. NDA was signed, no questions where to be asked and the instruction was to make any request at all, just happen.

Let’s just say money was no object…

With permission we are allowed to share this…

By far the most bizarre request we have ever dealt with was to use special gold plated cable and capping which was specially manufactured abroad and sent direct to us.

We can’t disclose the cost per drum, but 24 carat gold leaf wrap in this quantity is not cheap!

Even stranger, we were told the client can hear electricity and gold plating the cables eliminates any noise.

It seems criminal to plaster over this.
For those that didn't notice what the date is today. Its april fools day.

The biggest bonus ever? We were told to keep any left over cuttings.
