Worthing Windows was founded in the early 1990s by a former regional director for a big national firm, and a trained joiner, window fitter and manufacturer with hands-on experience and a passion for the industry, who had also learned his trade at a top nationwide organisation. The idea was to set up a keeper rather than a ‘get rich quick’ outfit, and to provide a service for Worthing that was “Mad
e to measure NOT made to fit”. The ethos was for a long-lasting company that cared about its customers and its local area, with firm pledges to:
Not put any customers under heavy sales pressure Cover all work with a 10-year guarantee Provide a personal touch
Worthing Windows works to the same philosophy today – “Local company, local people, local service.”
We began trading as a small company in January 1991, originally operating as low-cost provider from a small shop in Worthing’s North Street. To reflect a better quality image, we rebranded as Worthing Windows in 1995, with a fully managed team and a separate department for each part of every project. After a quarter of a century, we’re confident we have hit on the perfect formula and we’re thriving while others have fallen by the wayside.
