Yesterday was the first time in the garden for all the Crafty Bunnies this year, allowing me some painting practice and some serious running around for Remus and a Primrose. Happy Days!

Whilst we are a smidge past Easter I wanted to share this card to show you a fun technique.

To create this background I used water colour paper, and some stamps with more abstract shapes.

1) inked the stamp, and then spritzed inked stamp with a light coating of water.
2) Then stamped the paper. Your paper will become a little damp and the ink should splodge/run alittle.
3) keep Stamping your background until you have the effect you like, and leave to dry. I used several different similar colours and layered the stamping over previously stamped areas while the paper was still damp which allows the colours to run into each other.
4) once dry I then used copper embossing power to heat emboss the loose circle image behind the cross and to and some small copper highlights to the background, as well as emboss no y greeting to the cross.

I hope this inspires you to have a go at this fun technique which can have some really interesting and varied results.
