Henry Nicholls is an antiques dealer based in Worthing, Sussex. House clearances can also be arranged.

In addition to buying and selling antiques, Henry gives free valuations on everything from jewellery to gold and silver. If you aren’t familiar with the world of antiques and have something you would like to sell or get valued, then you’re probably not too sure who to talk to. After more than 25 years in the antique business, appearing on numerous TV shows and meeting all sorts of people at fairs,

I have found the best way to do business is to run an open business. This means you are welcome to pop into my shop or call me there on 01903 216 926. You might just want to know more about your favourite piece, buy something similar, organise a house clearance or even talk about something you are thinking of buying elsewhere. I can also help with valuations for probate and inheritance purposes (naturally, in complete confidence). You don’t need an appointment, I am here to help and as I work all week, you can call me any time.

Well. 37 years & 22 days later, I finally locked my shop door for the final time.
I SHALL STILL BE DEALING, BUYING & SELLING but from my office.

I began selling antiques when I was eight years old. I would rummage through the clutter at my Grandmothers’ house, then search out and then sell anything that caught my eye (of course, mother took a cut!).

It is with an element of sadness that I have to announce the closure of my shop after 37 years in Rowlands Road. There are a number of factors involved with the closure. I shall still be there on a Saturday for the next few weeks. Read the whole story in the The Worthing Journal . On to pastures new...... and don't panic, I shall still be dealing, buying & selling!! :)
