Is it just a little bit sad that on my hubby receiving a Fortnum & Mason w**e hamper, my first thought was 'ooo lovely wicker basket, mmmm how can I use that?'
Although it was closely followed by 'mmm lovely w**e!' - but that was very much an afterthought...
Well it turns out it is a perfect way to display my new crochet hook rolls. I made myself one last year and it proved so useful, I have made some for Folksy & craftshows. Each roll has eight pockets for crochet hooks, a couple of wider pockets for small scissors or a tape measure, a poppered pouch for buttons, a ring to clip stitch markers to and two felt pages for needles to sew those pesky ends in! All rolling up to a roll measuring 18x9cm. 🧡
