How to Set Up a Fire Using the Top-Down Lighting Method by our friends at Charlton & Jenrick.

We'd like to guide you on how to set up your logs using the top-down lighting method for a wood-burning stove.

The Steps 🪵
1️⃣ Place 2 small to medium logs at the base
2️⃣ Criss-cross 8 pieces of kindling on top
3️⃣ Add 1 firelighter near the top of the kindling stack
4️⃣ Light the firelighter 🔥

Choosing the right stove is only part of the story. Professional installation, properly seasoned wood and correct operation all help your stove perform at its best.
