What's your next home project? This is mine!

Room: The Box Room 📦

Function: Technically my office... 😕

In Reality: Half office, half home to things with no home! 🙈

When we moved in to our home 8 years ago, the Box Room quickly became "that room" ... the mother of all multi-functional spaces!
(Yes, I'm being very kind with that statement!)
It quickly had to become a workspace, extra storage, overflow for kids toys and games and the place for anything otherwise "homeless".
Since then we've extended our home and grown in to our new space, but the poor Box Room is still having an identity crisis 😆

Last on the list to be updated, de-clutterd and transformed; I thought I'd share the journey with you, as the Box Room finally (though maybe not very quickly!) ... *finally* gets the chance to spread her wings and become the Home Office she's always dreamt of being! 😆

If you remember my post a few months back, highlighting some of the design difficulties you can face when moving in to a new-build property, then you'll be pleased to see the great progress being made at this new home in Frittenden, Kent. Without losing the fresh look that benefits a new-build home, we've added subtle colour, texture and pattern to create this stylish, contemporary living space 🤍
There's still some tweaks and additions to come, but it's definitely feeling like home 🤍

Today I braved the rain (and despite getting a little soggy!) had a lovely time at the Wealden Times Midsummer Fair. There were so many wonderful stalls and creative brands.. naturally I had my eye on anything "interiors" 😆 and there were some really lovely products on offer. Here's a few of my favourites 🤍

It was also so nice chatting to some really friendly stallholders, a great opportunity to say Hello to one of my trade contacts LSB decorative painting, who was exhibiting... as well as bumping in to one of my lovely clients 🥰 So, despite the drizzle I had a really lovely day 🤍

Another sneak peek from another lovely project that is very close to completion 🤍
With just the last finishing touches left to perfect this Lounge transformation in Aylesford, I popped in to see my client today and I was so pleased to hear that the whole family are enjoying their cosy new space 🤍

Over the last few weeks I've been busy working behind the scenes (whenever I get the chance) to finally work on developing my website... however, trying to focus on writing content at home has highlighted that I get too easily distracted by other things I need to do!
Luckily for me, the lovely Rose Water Place Care Home - Barchester Healthcare in Langley (just outside Maidstone) have spaces on offer for the community to use, which is fantastic for local businesses or groups looking for a venue, for a whole host of events. I discovered this when attending a recent networking event there and it was the perfect surroundings for me to be productive and focus! Thank you to Karen for being so welcoming. It's a fantastic place... like a luxury hotel! 🤍
