Nuno is a form of felt using fabrics. This is actually double laminate felting, which is a sandwich of hand dyed silk chiffon and silk habotai, with a sandwich of very fine hand dyed merino wool in between. Here I've made a Nuno top and matching shawl. The shawl is just the layout, and not the finished item.

I'm delighted to say I've been involved in Fleece, an artists co-operative in Swaledale, North Yorkshire, for the past 6 months. Along with 4 friends, we set the shop up in a very short time, hoping it would be successful. Now 6 months down the road, we have 20 member artists and 9 associate artists and sell a huge variety of hand made crafts, from Felt (of course) to watercolours, iron work, glass, jewellery, silk painting watercolurs and so much more.
