Good morning! And happy Friday! How’s your week been?

It’s been a really mixed bag this week but I’ve had a decent amount of time at my desk and also sent out 5 finished orders which felt amazing as one was a big order of 21 festive pieces 😍. The Mushies in my group have had a sneak peek of a few of the new designs but there’s a couple more!

As the 25th June is drawing near I thought I’d let you know that I will be starting to share both old and new festive designs as well as videos of me working on them.

Because of how long my work takes with the layering of colour and details I have decided to be bold this year and start sharing Christmas pieces 6 months before the big day and will be taking orders from anyone who wants to be super organised!

It won’t all be Christmas don’t worry as there’s lots of other things to be painted and shared including Halloween and autumn but I think a little bit of festive joy is good all year round 🥰.

It’s a bit prickly on my desk today!

I’ve been working on lots of festive stuff lately and pieces that couldn’t be shared but I’m back with a work in progress Wednesday today! Mainly hedgehogs but with a few other creatures mixed in!

I’m going to need some short phrases to go on my little hedgehog plaques before long so all suggestions welcome!

I’ve got a mixed day of admin/socials, a little visit to my lovely mum and hopefully a bit of painting 🥰.

Forgive me for being a bit quiet on here, I’m having one of those I just want to hide phases but I am getting a good amount of painting done so that’s good!

The best way to deal with not wanting to post about me is to shout about how fab someone else is so today I thought I’d do a little 🎺 trumpet Tuesday 🎺 post about Pip! 🥰

A few months ago I spotted a very run down, chipped and dented guitar on a local freecycle page, thinking it might be good decor for her music mad boyfriends room I asked her if she’d like it and she said yes but not for decor. She set herself the challenge of restoring it which was no easy task!

There was no strings, lots of pieces in need of replacement and the body work needed some care and then she decorated it all too! Bringing back to a shine was a bit of a challenge but with some help from a couple of cans of lacquer she got the job done and gifted it to him last week. He loved it of course, how couldn’t he!? 🥰

Arggh where is the day going?! Is yours vanishing before you eyes too?

I’ve been drafted in to help Pip with a little project she’s been working on for a few weeks and needs some help finishing off. If she’ll let me I will share a photo when it’s finished 🤞.

I am working in between though and have just glued this piece now it’s been approved. Lots of learning with this piece and very different to the other pieces I’ve been making lately; a new adventure is always a good one though 🥰.

I’ll be working on some teacher orders as soon as Pip frees me up but there’s still space in my order books if anyone would like to place a last minute order. Books close tonight!

Bit of a late post but I’m forgiving myself as I am so happy with these 😍. It’s a little melancholy to see them finished though as I won’t be painting these anymore but I will always feel very proud of how I painted them.

I’ve got two more to finish off with banner wording and one spare if anyone fancies snapping it up before I brave doing a craft fair later in the year 🫣.

I’m off to get these all packaged and then get sone painting done, have a good day whatever you’re up to!

Not quite a rainbow but a variety of one design with a subtle change of colour, which is your favourite? I love the purple especially but the white will always win for me as I love a white daisy.

Good morning and hello to a new week!

I hope you had a good weekend? What did you do? Anything fun?
Ours was busy with lots of little jobs and some family time but mostly getting stuff done around the house and garden.

If you’ve got children at school there’s only 5 or 6 weeks left til they break up! 🫣. Are you ready with teacher gifts? My order books are open until Friday for teacher gifts and I’ll be posting ideas over the next few days starting with these gorgeous rainbow apples which are a fab way to brighten their classroom or home. Available as a magnet or as a hanging decoration they can be painted in any colours of your choice!
