Another fantastic project completed 🙌🏼

We recently had the pleasure of fitting out three beautiful cottages for - a company very close to our hearts. Being trusted with this work meant a great deal with us, and it was a privilege to be part of such a special project.

For this development, we installed Grey Liked Oak LVT throughout the kitchens, hallways, WCs and bathrooms - creating a clean, modern, and hard-wearing finish. We then complemented this with carpets from the Zenith range in the colour Caribou across all three bedrooms, as well as the stairs and landing, bringing warmth and comfort to the living spaces.

Working with Underwood homes is always a favourite of ours. Not only are they trusted family friends but they consistently deliver quality homes we genuinely believe in and are proud to support.

🚧New Project Secured - 500m2 Flooring Installation🚧

We’re excited to be starting a new project involving 500m2 of floor preparation and installation within a large commercial unit.

This project includes:
✔️Full mechanical grinding preparation
✔️installation of high-performance Altro flooring
✔️Fitting Heckmondwike Supacord carpet tiles

As always, attention to detail in the preparation stage is key to delivering a long-lasting, high quality finish-and our team is ready to deliver.

Before and after completion,
BEFORE - Following the completion of the extension, the subfloor required expert preparation to achieve the level of finish expected in a high quality living space. Uneven surfaces meant precision sub-floor prep was essential before any final flooring could be installed.
AFTER - Floorworkz LTD carried out full subfloor preparation to create a perfectly smooth, stable base before installing J2 CARPENTERS OAK LVT. The result is a refined, seamless finish that combines the warmth and character of natural oak with the durability and performance of luxury vinyl tile - elevating the extension into a premium, contemporary space.

Spring oak was laid with a chocolate design strip to create the border.

Why Wool?
Natural & Sustainable:
Wool is a renewable resource, biodegradable, and eco-friendly
High End Appearance:
Soft underfoot with a high-end appearance and rich texture
Durable:
Wool has natural elasticity, allowing it to recover from crushing and foot traffic better than many synthetics (Less footprint)
Stain Resistance (to some degree):
Contains natural lanolin, which offers some resistance to soiling and liquids (though not fully stain-proof)
Hypoallergenic Qualities:
Traps dust and allergens (instead of releasing them into the air), which can benefit indoor air quality when cleaned properly

To be fully transparent we have noted the cons as every customer has individual needs -
Not ideal for DIY carpet cleaning due to risk of shrinkage or felting (We have lots of care and clean manuals available for customers with wool carpets)
Susceptible to damage from moths unless treated (Not common in urban areas)
Customers with pets that will commonly use the wool carpeted areas may find issues with snags in the carpet from their claws
